Hawzah News Agency (Manama, Bahrain) – Shaykh Isa Qasim's trial which was expected to take place on Monday, March 13, has been postponed again by the Al Khalifah Regime.
Following the mass international rallies to voice solidarity with Bahrain's Shaykh Isa Qasim and to condemn Al Khalifah's decision to hold trial for the Shia scholar, the Bahraini regime adjourned the trial to April 7.
The trial has already been postponed for several times this year due to Bahraini authorities' indecision to carry out the process.
It is noteworthy that Shaykh Isa Qasim, the spiritual leader of Bahraini Shias, has been accused of misappropriating religious funds gathered from the country’s Shia community called Khums. He was also stripped of his citizenship by the Bahraini rulers.
End.
